"Sammy" - BIS Canadian & US Ch. Orlane´s Smooth Sailing

It is "Smooth Sailing" for this handsome Lhasa, better known to his friends as "Sammy." Sam finished in six shows (shown above with Pat and Judge Mrs. Rosalie Anderson at the Rock Creek KC. Lhasa Supported entry.) He became Linda's house dog, until the Riley's from Canada expressed an interest in showing him. He then went to the Riley's where he was shown for a year, made his Canadian title, won a group and placements. Sam Came home in January of 2000 and returned to his old lifestyle of being a pampered pet. Sam caught the eye of serveral people, including Brad Reese, handler from Ohio ( who also breed some beautiful Lhasa Apsos of his own under the Marquis Kennel name.)

We thought if Brad could take Sam for a few shows, they would make a good team and it certainly proved true. Being a typical stubborn Lhasa Apso, Sam took some time to learn the new rules, but he seems to have figured it out!
